MK II Spike Bayonet

The Spike Bayonet replaced the traditional sword bayonet when the British Army transition from the No. 1 MK III Enfield to the No. 4 MK I Enfield.
It will never actually be used during a tactical event or public battles. However they were issued and will be carried.
Many places on the internet offer these bayonets at buyer friendly pricing. Sometimes when purchasing a No. 4 Enfield it may come with the bayonet.

Pull Through & Oiler

A soldier must keep his rifle clean, therefore every soldier will have an oiler and a pull through stored in the butt stock of the rifle.
During WWII early oiler issued was constructed of brass, however as the war continued they switched to a plastic oiler. Either option is acceptable for use.
Cleaning kits can usually be found on the internet through various online retailors, sometimes they can also be found at guns shows.

Rifle Sling

A sling is a must hav for any rifle. It will allow a soldier to carry the rifle slung over a shoulder. It is also required for parade and drill.
Every rifle issued to a British Soldier was equipped with a rifle sling.
There are massive amounts of WWII dated slings on the market. They can be found through the approved vendors and many other online retailers.
Just make sure it has brass fittings

Enfield Chargers

In order to load a the Enfield a soldier would be issued his ammunition on 5 Round Chargers. Every soldier would be issued 100 rounds of ammo in 2 bandoliers.
Wiltshire memebers will need to purchase 20 to 30 of these Chargers. They can be found through online retailers at many different price points. Best to shop around a get the cheapest.
In the US they are many times improperly labled as Stripper Clips. However the proper name for them is Charger.
NOTE: The below Picture illistrates the proper way a charger is to be loaded. An imporperly loaded Charger will reasult in Rim-Lock.

Enfield Bandolier

Bandoliers are used to carry the ammunition for the rifle. Every soldier was issued 2 bandoliers. However it was commonplace for many soldiers to grab several extras as it was found in some cases two was not enough.
It is recomened that every soldier in the Wiltshire Regiment purchase several of these. They are cheap and can be found quite readily on the internet through retailers and Auction Sites like eBay or Gun Broker.
NOTE: The Following items are OPTIONAL, nice to have but not a requirement

Action Cover

Enfield Action Covers are great to protect the action of your rifle. They were prevalent mostly during WWI when they were used in the muddy trenches of France to keep mud off the action.
This is a great item to use when storing a rifle or transporting it to an event.
Reproduction covers are usually not worth the webbing they are made on. Best to find originals, they can be found usually on eBay.

Rifle Case

Enfield rifle cases are nice ways to store your rifle. They are made of the same webing material as the P37 Webbing.
Originals can be found on eBay, but be aware that the pricing on these can sometimes be very high.
There are reproductions availible, and they are perfectly acceptable for use.
