Wiltshire Regiment Membership Rules

​

WWII Reenacting is a fun hobby, however it can be dangerous when done improperly. We take this hobby seriously and there are some things to consider before joining any WWII Reenactment Unit

1) Age - The minimum age for someone to join the Wiltshire Regiment is 18 years old. We are open to new memebrs who are younger, however they will be required to join with a parent or guardian

​

2)Attendence - To be an active member of The Wiltshire Regiment members will be required to attend at least 2 sanctioned events in order to be considered active. Events can be Unit BBQ, Unit Live Fire, Battle Reenactments, Airshow Displays, Gun Shows, or Living History Displays

3)Criminal History - WWII Reenactments and displays will feature the use of Firearms, if you have a past criminal history that prevents you from owning a firearm you will be unable to join The Wiltshire Regiment

4)Cost - WWII Reenacting is not a cheap hobby, members will be required to furnish thier own Uniforms, Equipment, and Firearms. In addition to the initial cost of the Uniform and Equipment, there are also the recuring costs of blank ammunition for Battles and food, as well as expenses related to traveling to events. The Wiltshire Regiment will do its best to arrange carpools and unit bulk purches to help keep costs low.

As of right now The Wiltshire Regiment does not charge any unit dues, however this will change in the future as new members join and our website is expanded

5)Basic Training - New members will go through a training period in which they will be evaluated to see if they will be a correct fit in The Wiltshire Regiment. Upon completion of the training period new members will then be awarded the WILTSHIRE Shoulder Title and become a full member of the unit
